Aisha Buhari's brother, Musa Yola, denies being arrested over N300m fraud
Younger brother to Aisha Buhari, Musa Yola, has denied media reports that he was arrested on the order of President Buhari over a N300 million oil bloc fraud. Sahara Reporters had published a report earlier today claiming Yola was arrested last week on the order of the President for defrauding a businessman of N300 million with the promise to help him secure an oil bloc. Speaking with Premium Times, Mr Yola said he was shocked at the reports.

Pres Buhari orders security agents to arrest brother in-law
President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered Nigeria’s security agents to arrest his brother-in-law for allegedly extorting money from an unnamed businessman, a close confidante of the Nigerian leader told SaharaReporters. He said the suspect, named Musa Yola, was the immediate younger brother of Mr. Buhari’s wife.
Our source disclosed that the suspect, also addressed as “Alhaji Yola,” reportedly received N300 million from a businessman after promising to provide his dupe with political access to secure an oil block from the Buhari administration. According to our source, Mr. Buhari personally ordered last Monday night that Mr. Yola be produced before him in handcuffs in the company of the businessman he duped.
After telling the businessman that he was stupid to part with such significant cash when he should know that he, Mr. Buhari, would not participate in fraud, the president ordered agents of the State Security Services (SSS) attached to Aso Rock Villa to thoroughly investigate the scam. He also ordered the SSS operatives to ensure that the businessman recovered his money from his brother-in-law.
An SSS source told SaharaReporters, “Alhaji Yola has refunded the money to the affected businessman.” He added: “Alhaji Yola has been released on bail.”

According to a report by SA newspaperSowetanlive, 18 year old Boitumelo Dlamini was taken by four girls into a car, driven to a bush where they poured petrol on her and burnt her to death. One of the girls is the ex-girlfriend of the boy she's dating. Her charred body was found in the bush in Klipgat, North West, on Thursday June 25th.
Boitumelo's boyfriend's ex-girlfriend and three of her friends have been arrested for the crime and are facing murder charges and kidnapping.

In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, the President said he was deeply touched by these mindless incidents of violence on innocent people during the month of Ramadan.
Missing ex-FUTA VC found dead, killed by his driver and security guard

The driver and security guard of the academician were last week arrested in Ogun state while trying to sell off his car. The suspects confessed during interrogation that the SUV belonged to their boss and that they had murdered him. The remains of the ex Vice University has been deposited in a mortuary. The suspects have however not stated the reason why they killed their boss.
Bisi Akande fingers oil theives for being behind Saraki's emergence
The former Interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Bisi Akande, has fingered fuel subsidy thieves, and corrupt businessmen as being behind the current crisis in the APC which culminated in the emergence of Bukola Saraki as senate president and Yakubu Dogara as speaker of the House of Representatives, contrary to the wishes of the ruling party.

Presidency orders VC, registrar of the Fed University of Otuoke to refund overpaid salaries
The Presidency, through the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission, has instructed the Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State, Prof. Mobolaji Aluko, to refund over payment of salaries running into millions of naira.
The Registrar of the university, David Suowari, was also directed to refundthe sum of N130, 692.71 per month in excess of his due salary.
