“The National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, Governor Rotimi Amaechi, Senator Chris Ngige and many of us were made to stay at the main lounge throughout the meeting. We do not really know what was discussed but it must have been very sensitive.”

Shortly before the presidential polls, Chief Obasanjo dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, tearing his membership card.

Soon it emerged on several occasions that the politician allegedly endorsed the APC candidate. OBJ did not confirm the endorsement. However, he did not his warm attitude to Buhari.
